Your Ideal Customer

Wednesday, March 18, 2015 7:39 AM
Who is your target customer? A target customer isn't someone who shops at target. A target customer is someone who is actively looking for a solution to their problem. This makes them your ideal customer. If you don't have a specific idea of your ideal customer then you're just flailing trying to make everyone your customer. But -*spoiler alert* - YOU DON'T WANT EVERYONE AS YOUR CUSTOMER!! This is for a few reasons- not everyone wants or needs what your selling, not everyone is going to believe your product/service can do what it says, and some people are just more trouble than they're worth. So remember, you want a specific idea of who your target customer is; i.e.- if you sell cold medicine your target customer is someone who has a cold, NOT someone who is healthy and hasn't had a cold in years.
